Dear Sir/Madam:
My name is Li Hua, a boy at the age of 17. I feel honored to write to you and promote myself as a volunteer of CYV to get across the common sense of first aid.
Firstly, I have a good knowledge of first aid because my parents are both doctors. What’s more, it is the abundant experience in saving lives and attending to the wounded that guarantees me to be of help, when it comes to tough situations. Last but not the least, I am in good condition, due to the constant exercises and body building.
On the whole, I am qualified to be a volunteer. I hope to help out people in need and reward our society as soon as possible. Looking forwards to your earliest reply.

说起英语，这可是我们学校的特色，在新密占有霸主的地位，是无人能够媲美的，所以，校长每年都为我们举办英语节。这不，激动人心的时刻即将到来，现是二年级小朋友们的节目，他们那优美的舞姿，稚嫩的歌喉，使我仿佛又回到几年前。不知不觉中，表演就结束，小朋友们的表演博得我们的阵阵掌声，接着是一年级小朋友带来的'表演，他们手中贴着红纸，在动听的旋律下，那红纸片就像随风摇曳的红花，在阳光下，自由的摆动。样子优美极，赢得大家的喝彩。接着是就是四年级，他们的舞蹈也很棒，还继承着英语歌的传统舞蹈，所以也很受欢迎。五年级的学生也不甘示弱，那叫一个赏心悦目，手中的乐器伴着音乐成好听的节奏，传入我们的耳边，再加上那整齐的舞姿，是我们更加的佩服这群“花骨朵儿”，接着就是压轴大戏的其中一个：杰克·迈克的《Beatit》那叫一个酷啊!潇洒的转身，酷酷的甩头，帅气的踢腿，真让人眼红啊!

她那眼睛里流出了柔和的目光，有时会戴一个眼镜，耳朵比较小，她的腰有点像一部小说中一个人说的小蛮腰。偶尔会带我们在课堂上玩一两次游戏。而且凌老师的性格像眼睛中流出的柔和。每天脸上都会有笑容。每天都非常开心。在凌老师的课堂上班里总会有一点点笑声，我们班上的人都喜欢她的课，因为她上课非常有趣，也很好玩!
还记得那一次，后面坐了很多的听课的人，每个人的手里拿着记录本认真的`做记录。为了要做公开课，凌老师精心准备的演示文稿，和我们一起去上公开课，在上课时我们们没有笑声，因为我们都知道公开课是关于老师和我们的很重要的公开课。刚开始上课时大家都非常紧张，一个个正襟危坐，没想到后来老师竟然和我们做游戏，我们都忍俊不禁但还是都忍住了，因此我们也让凌老师上的那次公开课圆满的结束了。

我的英语成绩与我的勤奋学习有关联的。发扬我们以前的优点，改进缺点，上课让同学们遵守纪律，作业按时完成，同学们互相监督单词记忆情况，课文背诵情况，争取在本学期中少一个不及格的同学，多一个一百分的同学，英语在本学期五年极力争取考一个第一名，上英语课应该用英语交流在家里应该多听多读的好习惯，我想这样我们班英语一定会名列前茅的。
我也说一下自己的缺点:“英语在家里我都不怎么听读这个毛病我会借着这次竞选的平台改掉，希望大家监督我的'行为，我一定会改掉这个毛病。”不过我有个优点:“我不会的单词我会把它写到一个纸条上，放在衣服兜里，又是拿出来记记，时间久了就会了。”
